Typical of LOST, you just KNOW we didn't get the "whole" truth! (Another one of those enigmatic looks: did she or didn't she? My spidey sense says, "she did".)I also liked the look on Kate's face when Jack expressed the importance of telling ALL the truth...maybe there's still hope for them...sigh...not like any of you GUYS care. ;)
As usual, no one trusts anyone, or talks to anyone. Jack looked hurt that Hot Lips had taken off without telling him. (She was, after all, the General in his army.)The episode also helped us get the true sense of time back in order. It's only been a week since Hot Lips joined them?! (Part of the problem is that it has taken them MONTHS to tell the story of one week!) At this pace Sun will have her baby in 5 years! (and, Tim, YOU thought 9 months was a long time!)
I still hate Henry. He is just too obviously manipulative. He's a plant and they are blind if they can't see that. I don't care if there's really a balloon or not. ANYONE could have landed in it. Or he could have joined "the others" after having landed.
And speaking about no one getting along...even Bernard and Rose are carping at each other. It looks like we're going through a "stage" here. It will probably culminate at the end of the season with a crisis that brings people back together as a unit...
or unresolvable factions. (just as long as Jack and Kate are on the same side ;)

Apparently "The Tenets of the Church of T" has frightened away all readers. But never fear, Jen will be back from Guatemala soon! We need you, Jen.
It will be interesting to see if they ever tie up these unanswered questions or if that will just be left up to our imaginations
I was relieved to see there will be no delay in the next new episode - it's THIS week! (Goodness, I feel blessed if we get new episodes two weeks in a row!)
The event I have been anticipating and fearing ever since they entered the bunker will occur...those doors are comin' down. (I have a thing about being locked into a small place...probably everybody does.)
Oh...and something that occurred to me recently concerning the EPT kit. It HAS to be unusual for someone on a flight to have brought along an EPT kit, which Sun duly noted. BUT Kate said they were for sale in the terminal...how would she know unless SHE bought one?! That was probably HER kit. I'm seeing a possible development here...Kate is pregnant by her old boyfriend who was killed! (There WAS an overnight with him, wife out of town...) It is possible the right amount of time has gone by since she was with him and her becoming aware she could be pregnant. I bet they transfer the actress' pregnancy to the character. Since not much time has passed on the island, they couldn't have her become pregnant while on the island. They needed to have her pregnant ALREADY because the actress will be showing her real pregnancy soon. What do you think?
Ooo- good one one mom- well with Claire, Sun, and now Kate pregnant they sure a prolific group- they can call it preggy island. I was thinking that the society that is created from the people being on the island would become very 1700's.
In what way? Are you thinking of America in the 1700's? If so, one thing they don't have on the island is a unifying purpose (other than survival). It could be interesting to see how a postmodern person possessing a fierce sense of individuality and self-purpose could acclimate to a community. Maybe that is why they are not cohesive or community-minded, instead being very individualistic, each going his own way. Each thinks THEIR way is the best way to go. Hurley would be an exception, I think. He seems to have a true concern for others, though he is not adverse to stealing food from them.
OK...I am home, I watched it in Guatemala with the whole group Hastings Hodges and Johnstons! It was a blast...we had a projector and put it up on the wall...what fun~!!
So, my thoughts...
Sun: I don't think that she had an affair...although they really want you to think they did...Remember the island has a way of "fixing" things ie: John
I don't think that Kate is pregnant. BUT...she will be soon I could be wrong, but I think if she was they would have let that be known already.
A thought that Adam and Bob had is that Kate and Sawyer are siblings...it kinda makes sense if you look at how they interact with be each other. sorta love/hate relationship like Luke and Leigha (sp??) watch for it!
Henry Gale ohhh...did he really send them into a trap? or is he playing with their minds? I wasn't able to watch the previews for next week so...what is supposed to happen?
We rewatched Maternity Leave as well, and thinking after we watched it, the vaccine is in the hatch with them remember Desmond grabbed a bunch of it and ran, but left some there? It has to be the same vaccine right? (have we already mentioned that and I somehow missed it?)
OK...I need to get the kids to choir and do some needed laundry! Bye for now!
Apparently I have missed the episode where Desmond ran away. It must have been at the beginning of this season. I didn't come in until the season had started. Hopefully they will repeat them in order this summer so I can catch the first few. I KNOW I've seen some of them, but I don't remember THAT one.
Why would they have mentioned Kate's pregnancy before? They didn't know the actress was pregnant until recently and with the delay of taping episodes, it seems to fit rather well that they wrote her condition into the script, though it would not have been part of their original plan. I think it's a good possiblity. We'll see...oh, and welcome, back! We missed you!
