Well, the powers that be have deemed it necessary to make us go another week without having seen a new episode. Here's some things that I've learned or found:
The Numbers:
If you put the first three numbers together and the last three together, you get the longitude and lattitude that would put you square in the ocean north east of australia.
the numbers also go with the seats that some of them had on the plane.
What Walt Said:
Remember when Shannon saw Walt and he spoke this 'jibber jabber'? Apparently it was English, but backwards. Apparently it said, "Push the button don't. The button is bad"
Website Info:
On the website of the show, there is a diary thing. http://abc.go.com/primetime/lost/diary/104157.html I saw it but don't know how to get to it. It has this writing that says that "i've learned that my brother is being held in teh hatch as a suspected 'other'. And from what i've heard, his treatment has been less than... humane. who do these people think they are? Judge and jury? what gives them the right? This is not their court. This is not their island. something must be done..."
That's from their website so its legit.
Also, check out mrclucks.com. you might be interested in that. not a legit show run website, though.
In the first episode when the plane is crashing, you can see quick flashes of 'the smoke' while the plane is still in the air.
Anagram: Geronimo Jackson- Go and sin no more, Jack. probably doesn't mean anything, though, just fun.
that's some stuff to chew on...

Good stuff T, I wish I was able to catch tonight just to "see" more thing...however we will be out! NEXT week, I will watch with the Hastings YEAH!! I already cleared it with Phil!! ;)
Dad said the longitude would have to be around 160 to be where you said (and ALL the numbers only add up to 108). A longitude of 108 would have you headed for Jakarta. [He wants to know why you would not know that? How can you be his son and not know that? ;)]
I'm curious HOW someone played what Walt said backwards. (Does someone still have a reel-to-reel?) I knew it was backwards, but I didn't know what he was saying.
Doug has the DVDs. Now I'm curious about the seat number thing.(NOT that I would have the time to look at them all again. Doug, look for seat numbers as you watch.) Does anyone remember a seat number being mentioned?
Hot Lip's seat number was 42. I know that. and the longitude is 4.815 and 162.342. That's how you'd combine them.
Good one on the anagram. But doesn't it make you wonder what Jack's big sin was. Does he have one? Most of the main characters do. He's impetuous, easily jumps to wrong conclusions at times and expects to be in charge, but I wouldn't call any of those MAJOR character flaws (unless you're married to him!).
[Maybe Hurley's sin is greed. He's guilty of gluttony (which they've taken pains to point out) and he used "the magic numbers" for gain.]Of course, I haven't seen anything too heinous about Rose and Barnard, but you never know. Or maybe it only applies to the major characters.
