Sorry for not putting this up earlier, but I think pretty much understands why. But here's the discussion for this episode!
We finally got more info about Hot Lips. I still don't like her. Now we know why she always paused when someone asked her if she had a kid. But what happened to her after she shot the guy? I know she's not in the LAPD anymore, but what happened and why was she in Australia.
it was weird watching Echo and Locke talk to each other. It was almost like two characters from different shows appeared in the same show.
near the end of the episode my mom got talking about who Jack would end up with since Kate is taking to Sawyer even more now and she said that Kate would be better for Jack. I said that she's unstable and has an evil side to her. Well, from the preview to next week's show, it appears we'll see more of that.
Is anyone else not liking the relationships they set up? Kate and Sawyer, Sayid and Shannon, and then at the end of this episode Jack and Hot Lips shared a long stare. Hopefully that won't mean anything other than her realizing he's the guy she sat with at the bar. Or maybe he was the father of the baby or knew the father of the baby. everyone else has had a previous tie to Jack, so maybe she did too.
well, i'm sure i'll have more thoughts on the episode and I'll put those up later.

OK, so I still haven't watched the whole show yet, everyone told me yesterday taht I didn't miss much in the first 15 minutes. I am taking their word for it.
Was Jack the doctor that helped HotLips when she was shot? Did you hear the way he repeated her name when he was told that she was the one who shot Shannon? was that from remembering her from teh plane OR from before? I am not too sure on Kate and Sawyer? Who has the weird past? they are trying to make it look like it is Kate, but I am wonering if it is really Sawyer. Y'know!
Echo and John had an instant "bond" they both are the outcast sorts I think. They "get" each other. (I wish people would "get" me sometimes) they were on the same page. Rose and Bernard! AHH... I can't wait to see their story! how happy they were to see each other. and Jin and his wife, (her name escapes me right now!) How happy they were to be together again! Well, only 5 days till we see it again!
Hotlips probably fled to Australia and was being extradited (what was your word, Tim? ;) back to the US. No,that can't be. She wasn't with an officer when she saw Jack in the terminal, was she. Maybe she was returning to turn herself in. I feel sorry for her, but she's a little too vindictive and bossy for me to actually like her. She can lead, but not by the best method. Echo, Locke and Jack can also lead, but in a way that makes people want to follow, not by threats and force.
Echo and Locke are the same type that are more 'faith' guys than 'science' guys like Jack.
Jen, Locke met Hot Lips in terminal at a bar before the plane took off. I'd like to see that whole scene again to see what we could get from it. i can't believe i didn't recognize the actress in that scene. she's somewhat well known and i would have figured that she would be back since they wouldn't bring a well known actress like her in for such a short role.
Jen, you should watch the first fifteen just to get the background on Hot Lips.
